Terms & Conditions.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 between you ("User") and [Legal Entity Name], the operator of aukat.lol ("aukat.lol", "we", "us"). By accessing the site, submitting a listing, or placing a bid, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use aukat.lol.

• You must be at least 18 years old and competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
• aukat.lol is currently offered for users and payment instruments located in India only. We may reject or refund a bid that we reasonably believe originates outside India.
• You must have the legal right to promote the product, service, or handle you submit for ranking.

aukat.lol is a paid leaderboard: rank placement within each category is sold to the highest bidder and is clearly labeled "Paid Rank". It is not a merit-based directory, a review platform, an endorsement, or a guarantee of quality, traffic, sales, or results for any listed product or handle.

Ranking is determined solely by the amount paid. It does not involve chance, a draw, or an uncertain future event, and is not a lottery, chit fund, or wagering activity under the Public Gambling Act, 1867 or any state gaming enactment — you are purchasing a defined advertising placement at a known, fixed price.

• To take the #1 spot in a category, your bid must exceed the current top bid by at least the minimum increment shown on the site (currently 5%).
• You hold your rank only until another user places a higher qualifying bid. There is no fixed duration and no guarantee a rank will be held for any minimum period.
• Rank numbers, prices, and category placements shown on the site are indicative until payment is confirmed; a listing goes live only once payment clears.
• We may adjust category structures, minimum bid increments, or displayed ranks for operational reasons, without affecting bids already confirmed.

• Payments are processed through our third-party payment gateway (currently Razorpay). We do not store your card, UPI, or net-banking credentials.
• All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and, unless stated otherwise, are exclusive of applicable GST, which is added at checkout at the prevailing rate.
• A successful bid is billed as an advertising/placement service, and a GST-compliant tax invoice is generated automatically and sent to the email or contact details you provide.
• Your listing goes live only after the payment gateway confirms successful payment. We are not responsible for delays caused by the payment gateway, your bank, or your card network.

Cancellation and refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy, published separately as required under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. In summary:

• Because a rank purchase is fulfilled immediately (your listing goes live on confirmation), bids are generally non-refundable once payment succeeds, except where required by law or where we are unable to fulfil the placement due to a fault on our part.
• If you are charged without your listing going live due to a technical error on our end, contact us and we will refund the amount or correct the listing, at our discretion.
• Refunds, where due, are processed to the original payment method within the timeline stated in the Refund Policy.

You agree not to submit a URL, handle, name, or tagline that:

• Is illegal under Indian law, or promotes an illegal good, service, or activity (including unlicensed betting or gambling, banned substances, or counterfeit goods).
• Infringes any third party's trademark, copyright, or other intellectual property or publicity rights.
• Is defamatory, obscene, or promotes hatred or violence against any individual or group.
• Is deceptive, impersonates another person or business, or links to malware, phishing pages, or fraudulent schemes.

We may remove any listing that violates this section without a refund, and may suspend accounts responsible for repeated violations.

The aukat.lol name, logo, site design, and underlying software are owned by [Legal Entity Name] and protected under Indian copyright and trademark law. You retain ownership of the names, logos, and content you submit for your own listing, and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the leaderboard and in related promotional material for aukat.lol.

aukat.lol is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, and do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the site.

To the maximum extent permitted under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and other applicable law, our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of aukat.lol shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss of business, revenue, or goodwill arising from your listing's rank, visibility, or removal.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless [Legal Entity Name], its officers, and employees from any claim, loss, or demand (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your listing content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.

In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, we have appointed a Grievance Officer to address your concerns regarding this platform:

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer-forum rights available to you under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (which let you approach the consumer forum having jurisdiction over your own place of residence or work), the courts at [City, State] shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of aukat.lol after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
